Psalms 23:4 says Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

The times that we have felt closest to our Father and had the most peace was when we were at the bottom of the valley. He was who we threw our complete self at praying to be caught and held. Hard times are dark and terrible, but the beauty that comes from putting all of your trust in Jesus is indescribable. He is there in that valley with you, just waiting for you to reach out and grab His hand so He can guide you home.
